Vinted Shoppers Express Frustration Regarding Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with other platforms.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Changes
Earlier, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Accounts
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Manual Updates
A different user, from Derby, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she stated.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
