Team—

I know you all just completed your town hall - I trust you’re as thrilled as I am with the positive developments. Last time I shared you all a message, I mentioned the following: “I believe in this group. You all are some of the most driven and creative creators we have had the pleasure to partner with - and we’re eager for that partnership to endure.”

Through your commitment and flexibility, particularly over the last year, you repeatedly show that.

The gamer responses from last fall’s the game playtest was revealing. It confirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had refinements needed. It uncovered the necessity for a clearer brand.

The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve advanced. You embraced the input to mind and revamped the title with a revitalized goal - one that’s positioned to achieve its ambition to our audience.

The trust in this project grows every day. To further the outstanding advancement you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce the new hire as the latest Director of 31st Union. After a period of talks, Ben officially joins us on the specified date.

Ben’s management and expertise in the competitive gaming space is extensive, having spent the last 15 years developing and managing some of the most well-known franchises in gaming, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, the battle royale hit.

I invite you all in welcoming him next week. We are all eager to keep observing the development of the game in the months to follow.

David
